Hello guys…how are you today… we have come up with our new post for our android users. This time we tell you how you can take more out of your phone’s battery for your whatsapp, facebook, videos, gaming, etc….

In all android phones (as well as in ios or windows phones) the battery backup is the main issue. We want more battery backup for doing various stuffs in our smartphones.

As we all android users know that the battery backup of android phones is about 1 day of total usage (including data usage, whatsapp, facebook , audio, video, gaming, calling and all…)

In this post we list some cool and never heard before battery saving tricks and battery saving apps to increase your phone’s battery backup.

so take a look at our cool tricks for battery saving…

Battery saving Tips & Tricks

  • Limit Apps Running in The Backgroundscreenshot_2017-01-01-02-12-28

Any app that is running in the background is using processing power. That means it is drawing electricity from the battery, it just sits there in the background, continuing to run, checking for signals, watching your compass, pinging servers, and goodness only knows what else. Android is pretty good at managing these apps and automatically closing out ones that aren’t used for an extended period of time.

So you must keep a watch on the background apps running in your phone. Close the background apps which you do not use.

  • Change Sync settingsscreenshot_2017-01-01-02-12-55

Apps like email and contacts are going to be the apps that you allow to continuously run. You can save energy by tweaking these apps, though. Go into your settings and change how often they sync with your email service. Instead of every 5 minutes, maybe you only really need it to sync every 30 minutes. Or change what is synced. When you do this, it’s like you’re eliminating surfing a number of websites in terms of power savings.

For this go to settings >> Accounts >> then select the account >> change the sync settings

  • Turn off unnecessary power draining radios (wifi, bluetooth, mobile data infrared, etc)

Major phone functions like WiFi, Bluetooth, infrared and mobile data all consume screenshot_2017-01-01-02-13-29battery power when running. If you’re somewhere and there’s no WiFi, or you aren’t using Bluetooth or you aren’t using mobile data then, turn them off! These services are constantly polling for routers, nearby Bluetooth devices,  — whether these things are available or not. That uses power.

  • Use Location services when you really need it.

Apps that use Location Services can use a combination of GPS satellites and wireless networks to estimate your location. After using these apps close the GPS and wireless to reduce the battery consumption. If you don’t need your apps to be location aware, you can shut the Location Services off for your Android. Go into Settings, More, and then Location Services. When you get there, un check the box that reads Access to my location.

  • Lower the screen brightness or turn on Automatic brightnessscreenshot_2017-01-01-02-14-08

This the most common trick to increase the battery life. By adjusting the brightness of your screen to be just a few notches lower, you can add many precious minutes to your battery run time. Change the brightness by swiping down from the top of the screen to show the brightness bar.

  • Hibernate of Freeze apps

You may also consider installing Greenify to get a good look at what is running and automatically hibernate apps that you aren’t using, so they aren’t eating system resources unless you start them up.

You’ll need to root your device to really take full advantage, which is simple enough but will take a little time to manage if you’re new to the process. If you do decide to root then you may also consider Titanium Backup Pro for freezing unwanted apps.

  • Apply power saving modescreenshot_2017-01-01-02-14-25

Depending on your phone, you may find the manufacturer has provided power-saving features that go beyond anything available in Android by default. (Apple’s iOS doesn’t have a battery saving mode.)

Enabling a battery-saving mode manages the phone’s various power-sapping features for you. It might, for example, prevent apps from updating in the background, dim your screen, reduce the screen timeout setting, disable on-screen animations, and turn off vibration. By default, this mode usually turns on when your battery level drops to 20 percent, but you can set it to kick in at 30 percent instead. And the sooner the phone switches to this power-saving mode, the longer its battery will last.

A few phones, notably from HTC and Samsung, have so-called extreme (or ultra) power saving modes. These turn everything off except those necessary for making phone calls and sending text messages (even turning the screen to black and white) and can add anything up to 24 hours of emegency use, even if your battery is down to 15 or 20 percent.

  • Change your phone wallpaper to black

This works only for AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screens, which many Android devices have. The way that the screens work is to light up different pixels that are one of 3 colours – red, green, and blue – to create the impression of a specific colour. When the device wants to show a certain shade of black, it simply does not light up any pixels so thats why it uses Less light equals less power usage.

  • Turn off vibrations vibrate-512

Some vibrations aren’t good; when it comes to your Android phone or tablet they can be an unnecessary battery killer.

Start with haptic feedback for key presses. You’ll usually find the option to turn ‘Vibrate on keypress’ off in Settings > Language & input in the options for the keyboard you are using. You could also turn off ‘Sound on keypress’ for extra saving.

You can also go into Settings > Sound and turn off ‘Vibrate when ringing’. You’ll find a Vibrate option that you can turn off in your SMS app settings as well.

  • Turn off the motion sensors which you don’t usescreenshot_2017-01-01-02-17-04

The motion sensors like accelerometer, gyro sensor, etc uses much more power. So it creates an extra burden on battery and causes more power consumption. If you don’t need vibrations on, turn them off. The features like shake to change the song, shake to open the camera, lift-up phone to light-up display, turn over to reject call, etc uses the motion sensors. turn off these features.

  • Turn off non-essential notifications

The app process which are running in the background uses internet to retrieve latest information and then pops-up as notification by vibrating or ringing which consumes more power, so turn off non essential notifications for the apps which you do not want to view notifications frequently. By android 5.0.0 Lollipop, you can block the notifications of particular app by going to:

Settings >> apps >> select the app which you want to block the notification >> notifications >> Block

  • Don’t allow you battery to get too hot or too coldiphone-overheat

Exposing the battery to lower temperature (cool) increases the internal resistance to flow electricity, this decreases the battery’s backup or run time. In hotter temperature, the internal resistance of battery gets decreases and hence the causing undue wear & tear on the battery. So charge & use your phone in room temperature, because room temperature is ideal operating temperature for phone.

  • Bigger Is Better

There’s only so much energy you can squeeze out of the battery that came with your Android. If you can’t fit more gas in the tank, get a bigger tank! There are many types of battery boosting packs out there, some which also act as a phone case, so you don’t29224-seidio_innocell_2600mah_extended_battery_for_motorola_droid_x_battery_retail_packaging have to carry two devices around. With some of these boosters you could easily double or triple your runtime on a full charge.

  • Fill’er Up Please

Whenever you can, plug your Android in to charge. That old story about how you should drain a battery completely before recharging it just isn’t true for the batteries you’ll find in modern electronics. You can top it up anytime and not damage your battery at all.

  • Keep Stretching Out That Battery Life

Applying any combination of these power saving measures is going to make a difference to how long your Android will run on battery power. Like driving a car, the more you learn about how it works, the better and more efficiently you can use it.

Do you have any battery saving tips for using an Android? Which of these tips do you get the most out of? Let’s us know, we’re all in this together.

  • Use Power bank only if you are in emergency and running out of powerbest-iphone-6s-and-6s-plus-power-banks

It is found by studies that continuous usage of power bank to recharge the mobile batteries can reduce the battery backup (or capacity), so use power banks only when there is any emergency situation.

Battery saving myths exposed

• Force-closing apps doesn’t always help: An app running in the background actually won’t use very much battery power at all, and by force-closing it you merely drain more power when relaunching it causes it to reload its code to the phone’s RAM.

• Wi-Fi can help battery life at times: If you have a strong Wi-Fi signal, your phone can use it rather than GPS to determine its location for the apps that require it. And Wi-Fi uses less battery power than GPS.

• Disabling Google Now and Siri won’t help: These services drain power only when you use them and they are listening for your command; if you don’t use them much, don’t lose out on a useful feature by disabling them.

• You don’t have to use the charger that came with your phone: A cheap charger can potentially damage your handset, but most third-party chargers won’t cause any issues with your battery, and many will actually charge it faster.

Top battery saving apps that really work

For Non-root users

1. Greenifybattery-saving-app-Greenify.gif

This is an app which will not need much of an introduction to some Android devices owners, and especially those who like to root their devices. That said, this is one which can be used by both rooters and non-rooters alike. Greenify offers a good level of tweaking and even comes with some advanced features which look to further take advantage of Android’s own Doze feature.

Greenify’s key auto-hibernate feature is not available on non-rooted devices. You have to manually hibernate your phone using a Hibernate Now shortcut. It’s an easy workaround, but not as easy as using Greenify on a rooted device.

Greenify is free and does not come with annoying advertisements.
